I am a Baptist pastor with a passion for preaching, reading, and writing. I've been blessed with a wonderful wife, a sweet daughter and a goofy dog. I try not to take myself too seriously, and to extend grace to others to the same degree that it has been shown to me. Both of these tasks have proven to be difficult!
This blog is about fulfilling a need I have to express myself through writing, more than it is to provide anyone else with profound thoughts or advice.
As selfish as that might sound, I think that is how God works through us most of the time. He uses our needs to give and create to fulfill the needs of others to receive and enjoy. It is for this reason that I find great satisfaction in "boasting in weakness."
